Sixth grade

In 6th grade, students dive into both academic and real-world learning.

While building literacy skills through engaging texts, they also explore the watershed behind their school, participate in stream restoration projects on the White River, and work in the TPVS observatory. Along the way, they discover examples of green building and climate resilience in their community and tackle local issues related to Civil Rights, equity, and more. This hands-on approach not only prepares them for future success but also empowers them to actively engage with important social and environmental challenges.
